The Sacramento Blues Society is powered by your contributions and by the hard work of volunteers. We have no staff. 100% of your contribution supports the accomplishment of our mission.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS and RENEWALS

All members receive:
An electronic edition of our newsletter, Blue Notes, published bi-monthly.
Discounted ad rates in Blue Notes.
Discounted admission to many SBS events and other blues/roots music concerts in the area
In addition, your support allows us to conduct community programs like Blues in the Schools, Hall of Fame, the Gene Chambers Musicians Crisis Fund, the Mick Martin Student Fund and the Little Charlie Baty Memorial Music Scholarship. Memberships and donations are tax-deductible.
Student Member (to age 26): $15 donation.
Individual Member: $30 donation
Family Membership: $50 donation (2 adults and 2 children under 26, admission to annual membership party)
Band Membership: $50 donation (one membership card per band)
Blue: $100/yr. donation
- Receives the same benefits as any individual or family member plus up to 2 free entries to the annual December Membership Gala.
Bronze: $250/yr. donation
- Receives the same benefits as any individual or family member plus up to 4 free entries to the annual December Membership Gala.
Silver $500/yr. donation
- Receives the same as Bronze plus two entries to the annual Hall of Fame (HOF) event.
Gold $1000/yr. donation
- Receives the same as Silver member plus four entries to the annual Hall of Fame (HOF) event.
Platinum: $1500/yr. donation
- Receives the same benefits as any individual or family member plus six entries to the Hall of Fame(HOF) and six entries to the December Membership Gala
Note: The Hall of Fame Event and the The December Membership Gala include quality live blues performances
Hall of Fame
Annually we elect people in the area who have been a Performer or Supporter of the blues for 20 or more years and who deserve recognition.
Blues In The Schools
We educate young musicians about the Blues' unique musical, historical and cultural significance.
Gene Chambers Musicians Crisis Fund
We help musicians in great financial need due to catastrophic events.
Mick Martin Student Fund
We help students buy instruments, equipment, education or mentoring to foster their abilities.
The Sacramento Blues Society Little Charlie Baty Memorial Music Scholarship
The Sacramento Blues Society Little Charlie Baty Memorial Music Scholarship is being created in honor of Charles “Little Charlie” Baty, master guitarist, and fearless blues musician.
